BIOGRAPHY

Cynthia teaches both intensive and heritage Mandarin Chinese courses, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Her research interests focus on Chinese linguistics, language pedagogy, and learning dispositions rooted in the Confucian learning tradition.

Cynthia oversees Chinese language training for the SFU-ZJU Dual Degree Program in Computing Science. Beyond teaching, she is involved in curriculum design, course development, assessment, and coordination with the partner university.
