Executive MBA
SFU Beedie’s Executive MBA program is for senior professionals ready to take it to the next level. Whether you’re on the way up, or you’re already there, the EMBA will keep you razor sharp and competitive. It can also qualify you for a better position in your current career, or help you transition into a new one.
Cost & financing
Tuition & fees
Tuition | $63,177* CAD (includes all course materials, off-site orientation and workshops) |
Student fees per year | Approx. $2,997 CAD (health insurance, transit pass, recreational/athletic facility pass) |
Optional fees | Students who take the optional Americas EMBA for Executives program during Year 2 can expect additional costs for transportation, food and accommodation when visiting the partnering schools (approx. $10,000). |

Employer sponsorship opportunities 
A significant number of our students receive full or partial financial sponsorship from their employers. If you're considering this option, we encourage you to reflect on how your participation in the program can directly benefit your organization—whether through enhanced leadership, new strategic insights, or the ability to tackle complex challenges with greater confidence.

EMBA Alumni Graduate Scholarship
The EMBA Alumni Graduate Scholarship was established to support exemplary students pursuing their academic and professional goals. Limited awards are granted each year to exceptional candidates who demonstrate the qualities we value in our diverse and ambitious student community. Selection is merit-based, with the recipient demonstrating a strong profile holistically, including academic excellence, outstanding experience and progression and leadership ability and service to the community. All applications are considered for scholarship, no separate application needed.
Tuition tax credit 
Participants who pay all or part of the program fees personally are eligible to claim a tuition tax credit on the tuition portion of the fees. For more information, ask a professional income tax advisor to give you an assessment of the impact of your tuition on your personal tax situation. 
Government support & loan options
Bank loan & student line of credit options
Many financial institutions offer loans and financing options for graduate-level education. We encourage you to contact your banking advisor at your preferred financial institution to explore the options available to you.
Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)
The LLP allows individuals to withdraw amounts from their registered retirement savings plans (RRSPs) to finance their own education or that of their spouse/partner. Amounts withdrawn under the LLP do not count towards income and the RRSP issuer does not withhold taxes on these amounts. Withdrawals must be repaid over a period of no more than 10 years.

Bursaries are a supplemental source of funding for students with demonstrated financial need. They should not be treated as your primary source of funding. Bursaries are available to qualifying Canadian and international students.
