Biography
Dr. Sieme Bossier is a postdoc in marine ecosystem-based management at the ÓÈÎïÊÓÆµ. Her research with Ocean Nexus will focus on ocean equity concerns related to old and new ecosystem modeling approaches. She will also work on climate change adaptation strategies for small-scale fisheries to provide specific support to help those fisheries adapt to the new future circumstances. Other research interests include ecosystem modelling – Atlantis, small-scale fisheries, and Indigenous communities. Sieme trains Ki-Aikido and assists with teaching the kids. She is learning a healing technique called Kiatsu in most of her spare time. She also enjoys camping, bikepacking, scuba diving, gardening, drawing and sewing her own clothes. |
