Scholarships, Awards, and Bursaries
There are several鈥痵cholarships, awards, and bursaries available to you. SFU offers a directory for Canadian Indigenous Students including information about student loans and sponsorship options.
The following is a selection of awards available but this list is not complete. Please refer to SFU鈥檚 Student Services database and the Indigenous Student Centre award directory.

The Undergraduate Scholars Entrance Scholarships (USES) are designed for domestic and international students who demonstrate ongoing academic and community contributions.
The Uggla Family Scholarship is intended for students who face financial barriers to post-secondary participation.

Please note, that you are eligible for additional funding, in the Student Focus dropdown, select 鈥渟ingle parents,鈥 鈥渄isabled students,鈥 or 鈥渕ature鈥 if any of these apply to you.

Work-Study
Beyond scholarships, SFU offers a work-study program for paid opportunities to participate in research-based projects.
