FASS Camps Surrey
New to SFU this upcoming Fall (September) term? Excited to discover some of the many academic, social and professional opportunities and options available to you as a FASS student?
Attend a FASS Camp! We're hosting day-long workshops to help you kickstart your SFU Journey at either Burnaby or Surrey campus. Each day will consist of three key elements (advising support, academic lectures and connection with mentors), so you only need to attend one day.
FASS Camps will be returning June 24, 25 & 26!
During FASS Camps at the Surrey Campus (9:30am - 3:30pm), you will:
- Connect with new FASS friends and build connections within the FASS community
- Attend a mini-lecture and get a taste of university learning
- Explore the many FASS programs and departments with insights from current FASS student mentors
- Work with your FASS One academic advisor, Rose Baik, in the computer lab to plan your fall courses and get comfortable with the registration process
- Discover key buildings, study spots, eateries, and lounge spaces around your campus
- Take home some exclusive FASS swag
Lunch will be provided!
You can attend only one campus location (Burnaby or Surrey). Limited capacity at each venue, $20 attendance fee.
FASS Camps is not an overnight event. Choose one date only: June 24, 25 or 26.
FASS One students are required to attend either a FASS camp or a course planning session before being eligible to enrol in classes.
If you can't attend either event, then you should contact your advisor prior to registering for courses.
