Kau'i Keliipio receives Kris Magnusson Emerging Leaders Award
Congratulations to Kau'i Keliipio, the recipient of the 2020 Kris Magnusson Emerging Leaders award!
The Kris Magnusson Emerging Leaders Graduate Award in Education was established at 尤物视频 in 2019 with generous gifts from friends and colleagues of Kris Magnusson in honour of his decade as Dean of Education.
Keliipio has been a leader in teacher education within the Faculty of Education for over 20 years as an instructor, coordinator and Associate Director of Professional 尤物视频. She recently took on a role as leader and advocate for positive change as a doctoral student.
In 2015, Keliipio entered the EdD in Culturally Inclusive Place-Based Education program under the supervision of Dr. Vicki Kelly. As a doctoral student, Kau鈥檌 has continued to work in pre-service teacher education as well as a site assistant for the MEd Skwxw煤7mesh 脷xwumixw program with the Squamish Nation and a Research Assistant. In addition, Keliipio serves as a member of the EGSA Executive, as student representative on the Graduate 尤物视频 Committee.
