I am an Assistant Professor at The University of the Fraser Valley. I currently live in Abbotsford, BC with my husband Rick and my 14yr old Pomeranian Abby.

I attended SFU for my MA.
Please tell us why you chose the Faculty of Education at SFU for your studies.

Who is a faculty member you have enjoyed working with and why?
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Michael Ling. His classes are engaging, exciting, and inclusive. Plus, the snacks are scrumptious!
What inspires you to learn and to continue your education?
Dr. Linda Pardy was one of my instructors in my undergrad, and her dedication to her students, innovative assessment practices, and inclusive approach continue to guide and inspire me to continue to grow as a student, instructor, and person.
What would you say to prospective students who are considering graduate school in the Faculty of Education?
Go for it!
