What is your best first year memory?
Sitting around the welcome day firepits, roasting marshmallows, and meeting likeminded people.
Words of advice to new students?
Seek out opportunities! They won鈥檛 all come to you.
What are you involved in on and off campus?
On campus I鈥檓 involved in a few clubs, the SFU backpacking and hiking clubs are great ways to meet classmates and get outside, the music discussion club is a fantastic way to connect with people when the weather isn鈥檛 as agreeable. Off campus I work at grouse mountain conducting tours, educating people about the geography and wildlife.
