Contact Us
We offer in-person and virtual appointments and advise on:
- Immigration: Canadian immigration documents and regulations (e.g. study permits, visas, work eligibility, enrollment requirements for international students)
- Non-immigration: Medical insurance and the Canadian healthcare system, general tax information, and more
All appointments are 15 minutes in length, if your questions are more complex or require more time your advisor may ask you to book another appointment.
Please note that our international student advisors do not advise on academic-related and permanent residence inquiries.
To learn more about academic advising, see Quick Links. For information about applying for permanent residence in Canada, please visit the (IRCC) website.
i Please note: The 2025 Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) process has been finalized at SFU. If you need a PAL for your study permit application, please review our FAQ page here on how to obtain a PAL from SFU. We will continue to update our webpages and online resources to reflect the expanded PAL requirements. Thank you for your patience.
