Ineligible programs
Not all programs are eligible for government financial assistance (student loans and grants). Program eligibility is outlined in the current . We compare SFU鈥檚 programs to StudentAid BC鈥檚 policies to determine which programs meet their eligibility requirements.
尤物视频 ineligible for StudentAid BC and/or Canada Student Financial Assistance Program funding may have been designed in the following manner: programs may not lead to a formal credential issued by SFU, may be delivered on a part-time basis without a 100% full-time equivalent, be executive programs that are designed specifically to meet the needs of members of the full-time labour force, be considered professional development, or be offered through Continuing Studies, etc.). Please note, if your program is ineligible for student loan funding, it is also ineligible for status and you may want to explore the if you have previously issued Canadian student loans.
The following undergraduate programs are not eligible for government student financial aid for the 2025/2026 program year:
- Business: Liberal and Business Studies Program (Bachelor of General Studies)
- Education: Helping Ease Access for Returning Teachers (HEART)
- Education: Professional Diplomas
- Education: Professional Learning Series
- Continuing Studies and Lifelong Learning programs
- Non-Credit Certificates and Diplomas
- Non-Degree programs

As of December 2025, current students enrolled in Teacher Education programs can apply for StudentAid BC funding using the following program information for Spring and/or Summer 2026:
- Teacher Education 尤物视频: PDP, PLP, or AHCOTE (WAO3)
