Tempo: The Music Fitness Player (app)
By: Long Nguyen, David Shanhui
Course: IAT 359 Mobile Computing
Project description: We made an athletic music player that provides more in-depth details about songs. This app is a companion for the official Spotify app. Users can take advantage of this app by measuring their running pace so that they can find the most energizing and most engaging soundtracks to make their running sessions more immersive. With clean and intuitive UI and gestures, users will become familiarized with the app in no time. Users can skip to the most interesting part of the song with this app to keep their blood pumping throughout their run!
*NOTE: This app is a proof of concept, and is using a prebuilt database. Actual version will be released in later months
