Visitor & Daily Parking

Daily Parking

Central City Mall parking is for retail shoppers only. SFU visitors are not permitted to use mall parking. 

There are two visitor lots located in the vicinity of SFU Surrey which are available for daily and hourly parking: SFU Surrey South, and SFU Surrey City Centre Main Lot. 

Note that these lots are not directly manged or enforced by SFU.

*New* FlexPass Parking In Surrey

To support intercampus parking for our community, the 10-pack parking pass FlexPass will be extended to include Surrey Campus (Surrey South and Surrey City Centre Main locations) beginning this September.

This enhancement offers a convenient option for students, faculty and staff who travel between Burnaby and Surrey campuses.

Permit Parking

Student Permit Parking

Students can purchase a SRYC Permit, or a SRYE Lot Permit for the semester.  

In order to qualify for a permit, you must be registered for classes at the Surrey campus. 

Student Parking Permits are available for purchase through our online system with your credit card (Visa/Mastercard only).

Parking Permits for Faculty + Staff 

Surrey Staff can purchase a monthly permits for SRYC Lot, or SRYE Lot. 

Permanent and continuing staff may purchase a permit through credit card online, or payroll deduction once they have submitted the Surrey Payroll Deduction Form. 

Staff or faculty requiring day use or short term parking should contact their department administrator.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations 

SRYC: Electric vehicle charging stations are available in the covered area of P3. We ask all users to read updates on the machines each day prior to charging their vehicles. This information will be updated from time to time. Please be reminded to share availability of the charging stations. When your vehicle is fully charged, please relocate your vehicle to your permitted parking area.

SRYE: Vehicle charging stations are available in the SRYE parking garage. These stations are available to SRYE permit parkers only and card/fob must be programmed for access.
