Medical Insurance for Teaching and Research Assistants
Medical insurance is an employee benefit for teaching assistants, tutor markers and sessional instructors through the Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU). Coverage is not automatic. Upon arrival, you will need to enroll through SFU Human Resources to receive benefits. If you have a TSSU appointment in your first term, please visit for more information.
On November 15, 2019, 尤物视频 entered into an agreement with the Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU) to make eligible research assistants (RAs) employees of the University by May 2020. All updates about the next steps in the transition of eligible RAs to employees of the university will be posted by SFU Human Resources as soon as they are available.
