To improve the current methods of detecting Alzheimer鈥檚 biomarkers鈥攚hich are costly, invasive, and time-consuming鈥擜dachi and his team at SFU鈥檚 Nanodevice Fabrication Group are developing a small yet highly sensitive sensor that works through a simple blood test. The research team is working to ensure the technology can translate lab discoveries into practical healthcare solutions for everyday clinical use, ultimately benefiting patients and families affected by the disease.
