Research Interests
My primary research interests focus on the consequences of embodied cognition in mathematics thinking and learning. I study the role of the aesthetic in the development of mathematics as a discipline and in the understandings of both research mathematicians and school learners. I also investigate the ways in which digital technologies鈥揳nd dynamic geometry software in particular鈥揷hange the way people think, move and feel mathematically.
