Research Interests
Dr. Cher Hill, a settler scholar, is deeply invested in advancing and studying educative experiences that contribute to more connected, thriving, and just communities (both human and more-than-human). Her scholarship focuses primarily on three interrelated areas of study including:1) land-centred and anti-colonial education; 2) teacher-education and educational praxis; and 3) practitioner-research methodologies. Central to Dr. Hill's scholarship is collaborative knowledge creation that spans diverse knowledge systems, and methodological approaches that are reflexive and action-oriented. This integrated approach reflects her understanding that knowledge and action, as well as research, teaching and service, are intertwined.
