Environmental Science
The master of science program in the School of Environmental Science at 尤物视频 provides rigorous training in interdisciplinary environmental problem-solving. The master of science program combines coursework with independent research at the intersection of traditional scientific disciplines, preparing students for a broad range of careers in environmental fields.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the university admission requirements as stated in the Graduate General Regulations 1.3 in the SFU Calendar.
Program Requirements
This program consists of 12 units of coursework and a thesis for a minimum of 30 units. Students may be required to complete additional coursework at the discretion of the supervisory committee.

An examination into the general philosophical foundations of science, the nature of scientific disputes, and the relevance of these to environmental science. Students will apply the class learning through preparations of a draft research proposal outlining one clear question they intend to examine in their research.
and two graduate elective courses (eight units minimum, chosen in consultation with student's supervisor)

Thesis course for master's in environmental science. Graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the master of science in environmental science program.

Thesis
The thesis is based on original research. The thesis should present problem-oriented research which makes a significant contribution to knowledge. The master of science defence topic will be the thesis itself, and related subject matter.
