Royal Society of Canada awards three SFU scholars with country's highest academic honour
Three 尤物视频 (SFU) scholars have been named to the Royal Society of Canada (RSC)鈥攖wo of them as Fellows and one as a member of the society鈥檚 College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists鈥攂ringing SFU's total number of active RSC members to more than 80 researchers.
Membership in the RSC is Canada鈥檚 highest academic honour.

Established in 1882 as Canada鈥檚 national academy, the society promotes research and learning in the arts, humanities and sciences. RSC awards fellowships to peer-elected and distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions in these fields. Aligned with SFU鈥檚 vision as a leading research university, advancing an inclusive and sustainable future, the society鈥檚 mandate is to build a better future for Canada and the world.
The College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists recognizes emerging intellectual leaders who have demonstrated high achievement during their early careers.

Caroline Colijn, Professor and Canada 150 Research Chair in Mathematics for Infection, Evolution and Public Health, Faculty of Science
Working at the interface of mathematics and the epidemiology and evolution of pathogens, Colijn has developed a unique fusion of genomics and epidemiological modelling and inference. Her advice has frequently been sought after by media and policymakers.
Isabelle C么t茅, Distinguished SFU Professor, Marine Ecology and Conservation, Faculty of Science
An internationally recognized marine ecologist, C么t茅 has pioneered the use of meta-analysis to identify long-term patterns of ecological change on coral reefs. Her work challenges conventional notions about ecosystem resilience and marine management.
Bohdan Nosyk, Professor, St. Paul's Hospital Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research Chair in HIV/AIDS Research, Faculty of Health Sciences
A leading scientist in health economics, Nosyk鈥檚 modeling and analytical approaches have informed complex policy decisions surrounding the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS and substance use disorders in numerous settings across the globe.
