Canada designates Proud Boys as terrorist group: SFU experts available

The federal government today the addition of 13 groups to its Criminal Code list of terrorist entities. Notably, this includes four ideologically motivated violent extremist groups: Atomwaffen Division, the Base, the Proud Boys and Russian Imperial Movement. 

The announcement comes less than a month after the attack on the U.S. Capitol. SFU experts are available to provide comment:
