Biography

Aaron M. Hoffman is Professor of Political Science at 尤物视频. He is an expert on terrorism, counter-terrorism, US foreign policy, and other international security issues. His newest work, The Terrorism News Beat: Professionalism, Profit, and the Press is forthcoming from University of Michigan Press.

Aaron is also the author of Building Trust: Overcoming Suspicion in International Conflict as well as articles in The Journal of Conflict Resolution (2020; 2013), Journal of Peace Research (2010), Media, War, and Conflict (2021), International Interactions (2019; 2012; 2009), Political Research Quarterly (2017; 2013), Conflict Management and Peace Science (2016), Terrorism and Political Violence (2010), and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin (2007), among others. He has presented his work in the United States and Europe, served on a scholarly advisory group to the U.S. Air Force, and participated in a workshop on Middle East politics run by the Israeli government.
