Stephanie Simmons, Founder and Chief Quantum Officer at and an Associate Professor at SFU Physics in a major announcement from Photonic.

Photonic announced it will invest over 拢25 million to open a new quantum R&D facility in the UK.  Headquartered in metro Vancouver, the quantum computing company will further its international growth and advance Canada's leadership in quantum innovation while creating more than 30 new technical jobs in the UK.

In addition to being the co-founder and and Chief Quantum Officer of Photonic Inc., Dr. Simmons is also the co-chair of Canada's and a principle investigator at the Silicon Quantum Technology Lab at SFU Physics.
