Synopsis
How well does Hollywood portray physics? In this talk, we will analyze the accuracy of physics in popular films and series, focusing on Interstellar, Oppenheimer, and The Big Bang Theory. We will explore examples of both good and bad physics explanations, uncover amusing physics bloopers, and take a closer look at whiteboard equations from movies and TV shows鈥攄eciphering whether they make sense or are just impressive-looking nonsense.
