Congratulations! Zack Gilkison Successfully Defends his MA Thesis

We would like to congratulate Zack Gilkison on his successful MA Thesis Defence on July 23, 2020. Gilkison鈥檚 thesis, entitled 鈥溾�淗ow What Was Said Was Said: Quotation in Hul鈥檘鈥檜mi鈥檔um鈥� Narrative Performance鈥�, was passed as submitted, requiring no further revisions. This is the highest of four possible outcomes for a thesis defence and is an exceptional result.
Gilkison joined the department as an MA student in September 2016, working under Dr. Nancy Hedberg and Dr. Donna Gerdts. In Fall 2020, Gilkison will continue his studies in the department in the PhD program.
