Joyce Wong
Joyce Wong has been with UBC Sauder School of Business since 2022, holding roles such as career strategist for specialty master鈥檚 programs and business development manager. Throughout her 15 years in the banking industry, Joyce worked in various roles across retail and commercial banking, including people management, recruitment, learning development and cash management. At the same time, she volunteered with Dress for Success as a consultant and career strategist.
Joyce decided to make a career shift in 2021 to realize her passion for helping people grow and discover their strengths, leading her to the field of career development. She holds a Certificate in Liberals Arts and a BA in criminology from SFU. She also earned her Career Development Practitioner Certificate from SFU, taking the cohort program she now teaches. She is eager to share her insights with future career practitioners, guiding them as they prepare to help others with their professional journeys.
