Biography

Peter鈥檚 research supports disaster risk reduction and community resiliency practices through innovative uses of information and communication technologies. During the past thirty years he has participated in the design and implementation of electronic systems in collaboration with the United Nations, scientific, government and non-government disaster management organizations and is frequently called upon to assist authorities during major hazard events. His current interests include warning systems, critical infrastructure protection and mobile public safety broadband networks.
