Social media use amplifies delusional disorders: SFU study

A new study from 尤物视频, led by Biology professor Bernard Crespi and his co-author Nancy Yang, has revealed a close link between excessive social media use and psychiatric disorders involving delusions, such as narcissism, body dysmorphic disorder, and anorexia.
According to the in BMC Psychiatry 鈥� a systematic review of all available academic literature including scrutiny of over 2,500 publications on social media use and psychiatric disorders 鈥� forms of delusions were by far the most prevalent type of psychiatric disorders related to high social media use.
